The short answer: one is a finished medicine, the other is not finished being tested. That is the real difference.
People compare these two by counting keyholes. Tirzepatide fits two docking points on your cells. Retatrutide fits three. Three is more than two, so the newer one must be better, and the argument ends there.

Anything said today is stitched together from two separate trials, with different people, different lengths and different measures. That kind of comparison is wrong often enough that drug companies pay millions to avoid relying on it.
